Okaloosa County Celebrates America’s 238th Birthday!

     Freedom Festival at FWB First United Methodist Church-103 First Street SE from 6 p.m. -9 p.m. Food, Fellowship, Water Slide, Bouncy house and activities for all ages.      Crestview- Twin Hills Park Hwy 90 East –The City of Crestview will host 4th of July at Twin Hills Park, Hwy 90 East. Children’s activities start at 5:30-8:30 at the Football field, Free Music by Larken Express 6-9 with Fireworks at 9 p.m.

     Fort Walton Beach-Landing 139 Brooks Street-Concerts by the Landing for the 4th of July.  Free  Live Music, Children’s activities, Food, exhibitors booths and Fireworks. Celebration begins at 4 with children’s activities and fun. Come out and enjoy  live music by local band Continuum. The fireworks will start around 8:45 p.m. Bring your chair and your spirit.      Destin-Harborwalk Village by The Emerald Grand, foot of Destin bridge-Three days of Celebration for America’s Freedom. Thursday is the Red, White, and Blue celebration honoring special people of our community. Fireworks are typically between 8-9 on the harbor. Friday night, come listen to live music by Victoria Belles as they take us back to the WWII era of the 1940’s. Their music will leave a lasting impression straight from those historic times. Fireworks will be around 9 p.m. Saturday the celebration continues with Free live music by Gypsy Riot, all about ROCK. Music starts at 7 p.m. on the docks.

     Valaparaiso-July 4th, The museum will offer $1 admission from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Heritage Museum of Northwest Fl. Located at 115 Westview Avenue, Valparaiso

kettlebellchallenge    4th of July Kettlebell Firecracker Challenge behind Whales Tail-8 a.m.

     Come join the fun and exercise with the Best-Trainer Glenn Cruz -4th of July Kettlebell Firecracker Challenge on the sand behind Whales tail in Destin. Bring your water, kettlebell if you have one, or borrow one from Glenn. $10 per person, usually last an hour or so. Please go at your own pace and learn from the best and start your 4th of July off right. An amazing workout that strengthens and conditions plus lots of cardio. Beginners and regulars welcome.
